The FDA’s Salmonella Secret (FranchisePick.Com) According to Nation’s Restaurant News, two units of an unnamed restaurant chain have been cited as the source for at least nine of the 228 instances of salmonella poisoning that officials have traced back to contaminated tomatoes. Sarah Desrosiers will have to pay £4,000 damages to Bushra Noah, after an employment tribunal found her guilty of indirect religious discrimination. She had turned the Muslim woman down for a job at her hair salon in King's Cross because she insisted on wearing her headscarf at work. The tribunal rejected the salon owner's argument that it is an essential job requirement for stylists to have their hair on show. The 8Gb iPhone will be available for as little as €1 with monthly plan of €69 while the 16Gb iPhone will be €19.95 with a monthly plan of €89. Coffee Drinkers Have Slightly Lower Death Rates, Study Finds

A new study has good news for coffee drinkers: Regular coffee drinking (up to 6 cups per day) is not associated with increased deaths in either men or women. In fact, both caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee consumption is associated with a somewhat smaller rate of death from heart disease.
